During high summer, Iford Arts runs events in the Cloister and Gardens, in the main part beautifully staged Operas held in the intimate surroundings of Peto's cloister. As enjoyable evenings go, it is hard to beat the great pleasure of picnicking in the gardens with friends, bathed in gentle evening sunlight before one of these spectacular productions.
For those of a less sedentary bent, there are promenade events which range from traditional jazz to eclectic world music, but always with a spirit of fun and imagination.
