Silver sounds of the Roman Seicento

Musicke in the Ayre's annual pilgrimage to Iford this year focuses on early baroque music from Rome. Din Ghani will be using an archlute and baroque guitar that he built himself to accompany sopranos Maria Danishvar, Jane Hunt and Philippa Neaverson in works by some of the best composers that Rome had to offer.

Taking place in the cloister from 2pm - 3pm, garden visitors can enjoy the concert at no extra charge. Please note that there is limited seating and this is an informal concert - visitors can feel free to sit and enjoy the whole concert, or just part of it as suits.
